I think deeply, work incredibly hard, and tackle complex problems. Currently I'm a Product Manager at Bretton AI, where I'm leading AI strategy and helping financial compliance teams. Before that I was a Deployment Strategist, deploying AI solutions into some of the largest financial institutions, fintechs, and banks in the world. I joined Bretton as Employee #3 and Chief of Staff, operating as a core generalist across Product, Operations, and GTM. I built out the Deployments team and eventually became our first Deployment Strategist, continuing to build out more orgs across Bretton AI.
Before Bretton, I ran Operations at the Envision Accelerator and was Chief of Staff at Contenda AI early in the AI wave. I earned my CS degree from Vanderbilt and learned a lot with Contrary.
I've lived across the country — Long Island, Nashville, Philadelphia, and now San Francisco. Each place shaped how I think about building things and the kind of problems worth solving.

What is james-os
james-os is a personal operating system — a single place to track goals, reflect on the day, manage tasks, journal, and think with the help of AI. The public side is a blog and portfolio. The private side is a productivity hub built around how I actually work.
It's built with Next.js, Supabase, and the Vercel AI SDK. Everything is designed to be fast, minimal, and honest about what's working and what isn't.
